Mary E. Wheeler, 89 of Bushnell, passed away October 10, 2022 at Brooksville Healthcare Center in Brooksville. Mary was born on February 3, 1933, in Biddeford, Maine, to the late John A. and Myrtle (Harlow) Booth. She came to Sumter County in 2013 from Saco, Maine. Mary was a member of the Bushnell Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and was Baptized in 1957. She loved to read, cook and bake. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Before moving to Florida Mary and her late husband, Jules enjoyed long drives in the New England States. Mary’s greatest joy was her family and her faith.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Sandra Marquis (Raymond) of Clermont, FL, Rosemary Pollard (Dana) of Floral City, Patricia Ellie Bennett (Billy) of Bushnell, Michael Wheeler of Valdosta, GA Her sister June Margaret Pilot of Scarborugh, Maine; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jules V. Wheeler; brothers John Albert Booth, Jr. and James William Booth; and sister Florence F. Whitten.

Private cremation with care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
