Linda Louise Hamilton, 81 years, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side under the loving care of HPH Hospice, Lecanto. Linda was born December 23, 1940, to the late William Lloyd Wyatt and Corrine Wise. She married Gerald Lee Hamilton, July 11th, 1956, and began their married life together, spanning 66 years including children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Linda was employed by Hillsborough County School District retiring in 2004 after 28 years. Linda and Gerald have been residents of Floral City since 2005, previously residing in Plant City, FL.
Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved fishing, sunflowers, sewing, cooking, working with her plants and flowers and relaxing by the pool. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family.
She was predeceased by her parents; William Lloyd and Corrine Wyatt, and her brothers; Douglas Wyatt and Frank Wyatt.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Gerald Lee Hamilton, 3 sons and 1 daughter; Tommy L. Hamilton and his wife, Cyndi, Roy D. Hamilton and his wife Becky, David W. Hamilton and his wife Melissa, and Debra L. Hawkins and her husband Dale, 1 brother; Jack Wyatt and his wife Ginny, 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren with more on the way. Also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 1 pm on Saturday, October 15th, 2022, at Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, 3075 S. Florida Ave, Inverness. Linda’s family will receive family and friends 1 hour prior to her service. Greg Kell of Inverness will be officiating. In lieu of flowers Linda’s family has asked for contributions to Alzheimer’s Foundation care of website; alzfdn.org
