Marie G. Staninas, 77, of Inverness, FL passed away August 22, 2022 at HPH Hospice in Lecanto, FL. Born February 9, 1945, in Holyoke, MA to the late Wilfred Arthur Malboeuf and Irene I. Tessier. Marie and Edmund A. Staninas have been married for 25 years.
Marie enjoyed playing piano, sewing, and traveling. Marie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Predeceased by her parents Wilfred A. and Irene I. Malboeuf, her brother Ronald Malboeuf and her sister Joan Dalmanieras.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Edmund A. Staninas, 1 son; Jonathon Plante (Tina) of Chicopee, MA, and 1 daughter; Jennifer Puetz (Joseph) of Plainfield, IL, and 1 step daughter; Jill Staninas (Michael Pitts) of Sugar Mill Woods, Homosassa, FL. Also survived by 2 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Monday, August 29, 11:30 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness, with Father Michael Suszynski officiating. Burial will take place after the mass at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness. The family will be receiving friends in visitation 10-11:00am prior to the Mass at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, 3075 S. Florida Ave Inverness.
