William W Trimble Sr

William W. Trimble, Sr., 84, of Floral City, FL passed away August 17, 2022 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born in Queens, NY on June 26, 1938 to the late Arthur and Charlotte (Dawson) Trimble. William was a pet store owner, and arrived in this area in 2005, coming from East Setauket, NY. He was Catholic by faith, and served our country honorably in the U.S. Army. William loved animals. He also loved Hobbies and tinkering. He was a collector and enjoyed miniature trains. Most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends. William is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Barbara Trimble. Also surviving are his children, William W. Trimble, Jr and his wife Donna of Mineral Springs, SC, Samantha M. Gusaeff and her husband Jeffrey of Buford, GA, and Charlene Mary Vitale and her husband Michael of East Setauket, NY; 8 grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Patrick, Austin, Tatiana, Stefan, Jacklyn, and William III; and numerous great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Gathering of Family and Friends in Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL. Family and friends are encouraged to share thoughts and memories at that time. Williams’s urn will be laid to rest in NY at a later date.
