Michael Anthony Lampadarios, age 87, Hernando, FL passed away on August 12, 2022 at the Vitas Hospice Center in Lecanto, FL. Michael was born in Kalymnos, Greece on November 11, 1934 to the late Anthony and Anastasia (Monokandilos) Lampadarios. He moved to Florida from Westwood,NJ. He retired from the New York State Correctional System as a Deputy Superintendent with 30 years of service. Mike was a member and faithful communicant at the St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Wycoff, NJ. He was granted a Master’s Degree from C.W. Post University.

He was a dedicated member of the Masonic Bodies and maintained active memberships in the following: Parthenon Lodge No. 1101; Hellenic Plato Lodge No. 1129; Scotia Lodge No. 634; Jerusalem Amity Lodge No. 8; The New York Rite; The Grand Lodge of Greece; Grand Commandery of Knights Templar, State of New York (Past Grand Commander)

Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters: Anastasia Lampadarios and Maria Travers and husband Douglas, both of Hernando, FL; 1 sister: Chrysanthe Svokos, Westwood, NJ. He was preceded in death by his beloved green eyed wife, Nancy Lampadarios on September 16, 2004.

The Divine Litergy and Funeral Rite will be offered from St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Wyckoff, N.J. on August 22, 2022. Burial will follow in George Washington Cemetery, Paramus, NJ under the direction of Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff, NJ. The Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness assisted the family with Florida arrangements.
