Harmon Harley Wilson, Sr., passed away August 7, 2022. Born October 6, 1951 in Kissimmee, FL, he moved his family to Floral City in 1990. Harley built cypress lawn furniture from the mid 70’s to 2015. He was very successful at racing power boats until 1986. Harley was best known in Citrus County for racing stock cars at Citrus County Speedway, with his two sons, Sport and Wes Wilson. His family was the most important thing in his life. He loved telling his stories to make people laugh and smile. He was always there to help anyone that needed help. Harley is survived by his wife, Virginia; two sons: Harley (Sport) Wilson (Bonnie), John (Wes) Wilson (Erica); and his sister, Sharon Wilson Pitts, from Chiefland, FL; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas E. Wilson, Sr., mother Lorene (Goodson) Wilson and brother, Thomas E. Wilson, Jr. (Giz). Cremation with care is under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
