Ada B. Heffner, 89, of Ocala, FL and former resident of Citrus County, FL and Pennsylvania, passed away on July 1st, 2022 under the care of Life Care Center of Ocala. She was born in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania to the late Wilbert F. and Pearl (Stuzman) Heffner on April 25th, 1933. She later moved to Glen St. Mary, FL and then settled in Citrus County, FL in 2017.
Ada was a Seamstress for many years and loved to crochet and knit. She loved the Lord dearly and lived out the instruction to “love your neighbor” in her own way – she was always very helping to others and is remembered as being a very kind lady to everyone. She enjoyed the outdoors and spent her time hunting and fishing and making country living her way of life.
Ada, along with her parents, was preceded in death by her son, Dennis DeWolf in 2017. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Wayne DeWolf (Barbara Montgomery) of Ocala, FL; her granddaughter, Stephanie DeWolf; and her adored great-grandbaby, Jossallyn DeWolf-Chamberlin.
Arrangements for Ada are private at this time. Cremation with Care is under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
