Gerald Dennis Johns, 70, of Webster, FL passed away June 30, 2022 at Osprey Point Hospice, Bushnell, FL. He was born in Folkston, GA on July 1, 1951 to the late George W. and Ailene (Drury) Johns. Gerald (also known as “Butch”) was an irrigation specialist and Baptist by faith. He arrived in the Webster area in 2020, coming from Hollywood, FL. Butch enjoyed eating out, listening to music, and attending country music concerts. In Folkston, he enjoyed going to Charlton County High School football games, and loved watching football on TV. He is survived by sons John Johns and his wife Trisha of Ocala, FL, Robert Johns, daughters Delice Lyda and her boyfriend Keith Lee of Bushnell, FL, and Reana Johns of Webster, FL; brothers Bud and Dean Johns; sisters Mary Sue Sweat, Juanell Johns Hickox, and Pearl Eller; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
