Sally K. Conway, 74 years, of Odessa, FL, passed away June 16, 2022 under the loving care of Life Care Center, Lecanto, FL. She was born January 27, 1948, in Logansport, Indiana, to the late Cecil Whisler and Louanna (Worl) Whisler.
Sally was a resident of Odessa, Hillsborough County, FL for many years, a graduate of Chamberlain High School, and received her Associate Degree from Hillsborough Community College. She was employed as the personal secretary to George Steinbrenner of the
NY Yankee’s for a brief time but retired from the United States Postal Service. In her spare time Sally enjoyed sewing, gardening, and was a great seamstress. She was known for her artistic cakes which were enjoyed by many friends at birthdays, and special events.
She was predeceased by her parents; Cecil and Louanna Whisler and her husband William E. Conway.
Survivors include her brother; Errol Whisler and his wife Mary, and sister Elaine Andreasen. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Sally’s wishes were to have no service and in lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity in her memory.
