Daniel W. Rhoads 81 years, of Floral City, passed away on his 81st birthday, May 27, 2022. He was born in Buffalo, NY, to the late David L. Rhoads and Lillian Ursula Webb.
Daniel married Carolyn Evans in 1987. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed fishing and pontoon boating. He was employed as a lineman for The Niagara Mohawk Power Company serving Western NY. He has been a resident of Citrus County FL since 1998, previously residing in Medina, NY. Daniel was also a longtime Buffalo Bills fan.
He was predeceased by his parents: David L. and Lillian Rhoads; and his wife, Carolyn Rhoads.
Left to cherish his memory a son, Jon M. Rhoads (Lynn) and 2 daughters: Gina Marie Stringfellow (Jamie), Jennifer Hessell (Paul), grandchildren; Lynn, Michelle, and Paul; 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother, David Rhoads (Marilyn); 1 sister, Rachael Jean Druczkowski (Kenny), and many friends.
Funeral procession will leave Chas E. Davis Funeral Home 3075 S. Florida Ave Inverness, approximately 9:15am, Tuesday June 14, 2022, for burial in Florida National Cemetery.
