Virginia “Ginny” Hermion Aldrich, 79 of Floral City, FL passed away unexpectedly, May 15, 2022. She was born September 23, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA and has been a resident of Citrus County, FL since 1992, previously residing in Hastings and Grand Rapids, MI.

Ginny was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of and loved her church, First Baptist Church of Wahoo, Bushnell FL. She had a magnetic personally that drew people to her; everyone she met she considered a friend. She was a natural caregiver (family, friends, the elderly) and always wanted to help others in need including rescuing and homing many pets over her lifetime. She was a member of the VFW, Eagles, Moose, and American Legion. She was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed anything to do with gardening, birds, and nature.

Ginny is survived by her children, Donald Aldrich, Pamela (Shaun) Davis, Scott Aldrich, Shannon (Joe) D’Agostino; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Mike and Staci, James and Kelsey, Grant and Tatiana, Bryce, Raegen, Barrett and Beckham, Jacob, Frederick, Jessica, Joseph, Jr., Justin, John and Gino; her siblings, Patrick “Lee” Jernigan and Colleen Hidlery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry “Skip” Aldrich, son, Michael Aldrich, grand daughter, Makayala Johnson, long time friends and companions, Lori Jones and Lowell Waller, parents, Marvin D. Smith and Eleanor G. Korness, and brother, Frederick Jernigan.

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Wahoo, Bushnell, FL at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 4, 2022 with a visitation beginning at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her name to the Humane Society and the First Baptist Church of Wahoo. Cremation entrusted to Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory
