Terry Keith Shouse, age 75, Inverness, FL passed away April 29, 2022 surrounded by family in Citrus Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Terry was born in Vincennes, IN on March 15, 1947 to the late George and Florence (Johnson) Shouse and moved to Inverness from St. Petersburg in 1985. He retired from Florida Power, Progress Energy, and Duke Energy after 43 years of service. Terry proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps and was a Viet Nam veteran.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Kathy (Jost) Shouse; 3 daughters: Suzanne (Vic) Clemente, Tampa, FL; Terri K. Rockett, Inverness, FL; Mindy (Joe) Melito, Citrus Hills, FL; brother, Carrol Shouse, Indianapolis, IN; 7 grandchildren: Chelsea, Toni, Emma, Tyler, Anthony, Aiden, and Michael; 5 great grandchildren: Corbin, Clay, Emily, Ezra, and Xane and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Shouse and 2 sisters, Betty Buchanan and Ilene Grumieaux.
At Terry’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions are being accepted by Nature Coast Young Marines, 8551 W. Venable Street, Crystal River, FL 34429. Cremation with care at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
