Roger C Lindsey

Roger Clark Lindsey, 72 years, passed away April 18, 2022 at home with his beloved wife by his side. He was born July 8, 1949, to the late Richard and Laura (Clark) Lindsey.

Roger entered the US Marine Corps right from high school. After his tour with the Marines, he traveled throughout the country, deciding, he would make Florida his home. He has been a Florida resident for most of his life, and a resident of Inverness since 2010. A member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles, The American Legion, and The VFW, he enjoyed riding his Harley, RV’ing, and following the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes. He was employed by JR Davis Construction Company, as a crane operator. He would use his RV when he had to travel to different jobsites, instead of commuting.

On January 3, 2015, he married his love Mary C. (Atherton).

Left to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Mary C. Lindsey and his nephew Allan Barber (Liz), of New York, niece, Linda Jordan (Ken) of New York and many friends.

A Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Saturday April 30, 2022 at 1pm in the Hernando VFW Post 4252, (State Route 200) 3190 North Carl Rose Hwy,
Hernando, FL 34442. Cremation with care, under the direction of Chas E. Davis Home, Inverness, FL.
