Britt R. Riggs, 42 years, of Inverness FL, suddenly passed away March 21, 2022, at home. She was born, April 16, 1979, in Norfolk, VA to George Hurst, and the late
Elaine Coursen.
Britt was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family, her family was her life, and they meant the world to her. A lot of people referred to her, as their second mom.
Whether, cooking, cleaning, tending to her husband, the kids, or the animals, Britt made it a point to be the best wife and mother for her family.
She was predeceased by her mother Elaine Coursen, and her sister Michelle Phillman.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 21 years Donald J. Riggs, and her children, Austin J. Riggs, Wade Riggs, Mercedes Riggs, and her daughter in law Samantha Riggs. She is also survived by her father George Hurst, brothers, Shawn Coursen, Shane Coursen, and her sister Heidi Kenyon.
Cremation with care under the direction of Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
