Frederick W Gelders

Frederick W. Gelders, 95, of Homosassa, FL passed away March 1, 2022 at Cypress Cove Care Center in Crystal River, FL. He was born on January 7, 1927 to the late Harold Benjamin and Ruth (Steenman) Gelders. Frederick was an Engineer for Dresser Industries and served our country in the U.S. Army. He arrived in this area in 1992, coming from Muskegon, MI. Frederick enjoyed racing sail boats and going on cruises. He is survived by his loving wife Jill Gelders of Homosassa. Other survivors include his daughters Terri Gelders and Christine Rodriguez, both of Michigan; and 3 grandchildren. Frederick’s urn will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
