Addison “Andy” Charles Anderson, 92, of Floral City, FL, passed away February 15, 2022. He was born in Westfir, OR on September 15, 1929 to the late Clayton Carl and Blanche Corabella (Stetler). Andy was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, and owner of a Ben Franklin store. He arrived in this area in 2015, coming from Washington State, and attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness, FL. Andy loved fishing and gardening. He was a very talented wood worker, making Hope Chests for the kids. He also enjoyed reminiscing about his experiences in the Navy while in Korea. Andy was predeceased in death by 2 sons, Dennis and Matthew Anderson; and 2 daughters Denise Cedatol and Meia Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Eileen Anderson. Other survivors include son Randy Anderson and his wife Arlea of Athol, ID; daughters Theresa Thompson and her husband Mike of Brighton, CO, and Erin Anderson of Floral City, FL; and brothers Carl and Lester Anderson; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial for Andy will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 12, 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. Following the Mass, Andy’s urn will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. The procession will depart the church after the Mass for the cemetery.
