Virginia “Ginnie” DeBay Coston of Citrus County, Florida, born May 5, 1935, in
Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She left her earthly home for her heavenly home with our
Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on February 1, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
After moving to Citrus County in 1973, Ginnie worked for First Federal Savings &
Loan of Citrus County, MidState Federal & AmSouth Bank, retiring in 2001.
Ginnie was a pianist for various churches, Eden Baptist Church and Inverness
Church of God. She also gave private piano lessons. She worked as an
Administrator for Eden Baptist Church & School for almost 7 years.

Ginnie loved her family and having get togethers. Her smile was infectious and
her heart was pure, that often she was referred to as a “Saint”.
Survived by her daughters Deanna (Bert) Diaz of Inverness, Dorena Bedwell of
Lake Lindsay, and Valerie DeBay of Inverness. Grandchildren: Timothy (Tosha)
Bedwell, April Bedwell Landis, Anthony (Jessie) Watson. Great Grandchildren:
Trinton Suarez, Carter Bedwell, Roman Bedwell, Prater Landis, Collins Watson and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband George Coston,daughter Lori Watson, son-in-law Jimmy Bedwell, brothers Mallie Melvin andGeorge Melvin and sister Frances Weiss.

Visitation from 3-4 pm with Celebration of Life to follow on February 11, 2022
under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home.
