Susan F Leddy

Susan F. Leddy, 77, of Hernando, FL passed away on January 13th, 2022 under the care of Life Care Center of Lecanto, FL with her beloved husband, Martin A. Leddy, by her side. She was born to the late Russell and Hilda Stievenart France on May 31st, 1944 in Pittsburgh, PA. She and Martin made their home in Florida in 2001 when they moved from Louisville, Kentucky. She was an owner and operator of many businesses with her husband, the most recent being a ceramic tile flooring distributor in Kentucky.
Susan will be remembered for being a talented artist, who loved to create artwork with watercolors and acrylics, and she was also a talented craftswoman experienced with crocheting, knitting, and sewing. She traveled throughout our great nation with her husband for the past 25 years and would create beautiful paintings of many of the places that she and her husband traveled to. She loved to cook and was excellent at it and on many Sundays would host family for Sunday meals. She was a collector of antiques and unique items and did lots of research into each item she collected so she could know more about its origins and history. Susan was also the family record keeper, and loved to research into her family tree and history. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Those left to cherish her memory, along with her husband Martin of 38 years, are her children, Scott Bruner (Dawn) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Jack Bruner III (Beth) of Ocala, FL, Heidi Bruner of Ocala, FL, Martin A. Leddy VI (Abbie) of Powder Springs, GA, and Steven Leddy of Marietta, GA; her brother, Stephen France of Citrus Hills, FL; her eight grandchildren; and her three great-grandchildren.
It was said that “She cared and shared. Everyone who met Susan, liked her. Those that spent the time to know her, loved her. She was a great person, loved by all and missed by any. In her living memory, please share with all that would appreciate her.”, by her loving husband and family.
