Vincent L. Morissett

Vincent L. Morisset, 79, Inverness FL, passed away January 4, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Thetford Mines, Province of Quebec, Canada to the late Rheo and Rita (Gregoire) Morisset.

He is survived by his loving wife Jacqueline Morisset; sons: Brian L. SSG(R) U.S. Army (Michelle) Morisset of Colorado Springs, CO; Eric R. (Kristi) Morisset of Denver, CO; step-children: Salvatore (Theresa) Zuccarello of PA, Johanna Williams of Tampa, FL, Frank (Angela) Zuccarello of Lutz, FL, and Jacqueline (Mark) Parks of Land of Lakes, FL; sisters: Louise (Larry) Lowe of Cocoa, FL and Celine (Trent) Codd of Asheville, NC, and ten grandchildren; he was the loving uncle to five nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael A. Morisset Airman 1st class, and son-in-law, Guy Williams. Vincent was successful at embracing his blended family.

Vincent excelled in academics throughout his high school years at Archbishop Curley High School in Miami, Florida. He subsequently earned a degree from the School of Pharmacy at The University of Florida in 1967.

Vincent and his wife Jacqueline built their own house along the Withlacoochee River in Inverness, FL. Vincent had diverse interests, which included working with computers, woodworking, auto maintenance, reading and genealogy (he traced his family generations back to the 1600’s through the original Land Grants from Normandy, France.

Additionally, Vincent had a great love for animals of all kinds. He was a thirty-five year member of AA and throughout his tenure was a well respected sponsor and all around great man.

A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Monday, January 10th, at 12:00 Noon, at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. The service will be streamed. Go to: Chas. E.
