Juanita S. Davis, 94, of Inverness, FL passed away at Citrus Memorial Hospital of Inverness on December 29th, 2021. She was born to the late Mattie Radcliff on January 19, 1927 in Lenox, Georgia. She made Citrus County her home over 70 years ago when she moved here from Bradenton, FL. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ. She retired from the Citrus County Sheriff’s Department. Juanita loved to shop, go out to eat, and garden in her spare time.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ted Davis. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Max Davis (Pat) of Inverness, FL, Leitha Gores (Mike) of Floral City, FL, and Sandra Davis of North Florida; her adored two grandchildren, Travis and Caitlin Davis; and her three cherished great-grandchildren, Emma, Ellie, and Caleb.
Juanita will be privately laid to rest at Hills of Rest Cemetery of Floral City, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
