William A Tarr

William Allen Tarr, 92, of Inverness, FL passed away on December 27th, 2021 under the care of Citrus Memorial Hospital of Inverness. He was born to the late Manuel and Lois (Culbertson) Tarr on November 30th, 1929 in West Baden Springs, Indiana. He made Citrus County his home about 43 years ago when he and his family moved from Bloomington, Indiana. He was an Electrical Engineer for many years, manufacturing military equipment and television broadcasting equipment. He enjoyed boating and fishing, camping, and being outdoors.
William was preceded in death by his loving spouse of 41 years, Wilma Tarr, in October of 1995 and his siblings. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Julie Sheppard of Inverness, FL, Diana Knapp of Indiana, and Cheryl Tarr of Georgia; his three grandsons; his four great-grandchildren; and his three great-great-grandchildren. William was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
