Lucy A Mannion

Lucy Ann Mannion, 61, of Inverness, FL. passed away December 16, 2021 in Ocala, FL. Born in Coral Gables, FL. on January 26, 1960, she was third child to the late Hartwell A. and Bebe C. Dew. Best known for her wide-smiled charm, green-eyed glances, and abundant wit, Lucy was also deeply generous and compassionate. Being a devoted wife and mother was one of the happiest and most fulfilling callings of her life. Endowed with intellect and strength, she taught her children about life and love with reverence and purpose. Lucy excelled as an artist in several media, from silversmithing jewelry and doll-making, to coiling elaborate baskets from pine needles. A proficient genealogist, she thoroughly enjoyed researching her ancestors and Muskogee Creek heritage. Lucy acquired a love of idyllic Florida pastimes early in life like beach combing for shells and treasured all rivers, lakes, and seas. Let us not forget these gifts that made Lucy special, and the auspicious and extraordinary beauty of her precious heart. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joel Dew and Michael Dew. Lucy is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Mark W. Mannion. She lives on in her daughters, Rachel Mannion of Key West, FL. and Aubrey Mannion of Louisiana. A Celebration of Life Gathering of Family and Friends is scheduled for Saturday, January 8, 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
