Wallace Dean (Wally) Hindalong, 80, of Floral City, FL passed away on December 2nd, 2021 at Citrus Memorial Hospital of Inverness. Wally was born September 25, 1941 in Kearney, Nebraska to George P. and Alpha (Reiners) Hindalong. Proud of his Nebraska heritage, he relocated to Tampa, FL in March of 1980 before becoming a resident of Floral City in January of 1984. Wally was a co-owner of Gulf Coast Ready-Mix, a concrete company in Homosassa, FL.
Wally will be remembered as a great father and husband who was fun to be around and loved his family. He is described as a perfect and thoughtful husband by his loving wife of 60 years, Sandra. He loved dogs, enjoyed watching football, and spending time with his friends and family.
Those left to cherish his memory along with his wife Sandra are his children, Stacy Hindalong and her husband, Keith Johnson of Greenbelt, MD, Jeffrey Hindalong and his wife Nancy Hindalong of Inverness, FL, his brother Richard Hindalong and his wife Connie of Omaha, Nebraska, five grand children and a great-granddaughter.
A Celebration of Life for Wally will be held on Friday, December 10th, 2021 from 3-5 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home for a time of fellowship. Friends and family may come and go at their leisure. Cremation with Care is under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
