Richard Carmine DePuma, 76, of Inverness, FL and lifelong resident of Citrus County, passed away on November 9th, 2021 under the care of Citrus Memorial Hospital of Inverness. He was born to the late Carmine and Mary (Cocuzza) DePuma on February 16th, 1945 in Newark, NJ.
He worked as a Carpenter for many years and bravely served our country as a member of the United States Navy. Richard was an avid collector. He loved going to the racetrack, gambling, and going to the boardwalk.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Schwartz when she passed in 1990. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, David DePuma of North Middletown, NJ and Cheryl DePuma of Keansburg, NJ; his five cherished grandchildren, Ariana Gazzillo, Paige Brady, Robert DePuma, Nicholas DePuma, and Joy DePuma; and his good friend, Tom DeRosa.
Arrangements for Richard are private at this time. Cremation with Care is under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
