David “Flash” Russell Bentley of Inverness and Nobleton, FL passed away at Bayfront Brooksville Hospital on October 22, 2021 at the age of 48. He was born to the late Helen J. (Lague) and Robert Bentley, Sr. on November 10, 1972 in Milford, MA.
David made Florida his home in 2006 after relocating from Natick, MA with his family. He was a Christian by faith and a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Istachatta, FL. David was a very hard worker and had worked as an auto mechanic, carpet layer and also did lawn work. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and family.
Those left to mourn David’s passing include his father, Robert Bentley, Sr. and his wife Patricia; stepfather, Ronald Zicko and his wife Diana; brothers: Robert Bentley, Jr., Wayne Bentley and his wife Susanna; and a great many friends. David was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Zicko in 2013.
David will be laid to rest at the New Hope Cemetery located at the New Hope United Methodist Church in Istachatta, FL at a later date. Cremation care by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
