Michael J Beckner

Michael James Beckner, 66, of Inverness, FL passed away October 12, 2021 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born in Greensboro, NC on January 23, 1955 to the late Delbert Oscar and Eva Anne (Kaetzel) Beckner, Jr. Michael was a maintenance supervisor for apartment complexes and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He arrived in this area in 2008, coming from Naples, FL. and was Lutheran by faith. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching NASCAR, and was a UNC Tar Heels fan. Michael is survived by his son, Michael Shawn Beckner and his wife Jessica of Inverness, 3 brothers, Delbert O. Beckner III, David Beckner, and Robert Beckner, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Michaels urn will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with crematory, Inverness.
