Anna J Lipford

Anna Jean Lipford, 92, of Inverness, FL passed away October 5, 2021 at Cates House in Ocala, FL. She was born in Montgomery, W.VA on June 29, 1929 to the late Charles J. and Willa L. (Walker) Filbin. Jean was a retail sales representative in the banking industry, and enjoyed dancing. She originally arrived in this area in 1989, and then returned in 2003. She attended Ft. Cooper Baptist Church in Inverness. Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, William Richard Lipford, then her second husband, Cecil Bryant Lovan, and three brothers: Jackie Filbin, Jerry Filbin of Kentucky, and Thomas Filbin of Maryland. She is survived by her children William Lipford of Petersburg, VA, and Sherry Kalasnik of Ulysses, PA; step children: Randy, David, and Kevin Lovan, and Carolyn Bates and Patricia Tabor, all of California; brother, Charles Filbin of W. VA; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A celebration of Life for Jean will be held at Ft. Cooper Baptist Church in Inverness, on Thursday, November 4th, at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Ft. Cooper Baptist Church, 4222 S.
