Louise Marie “Weezie” Lanzendorfer of Inverness, FL passed away at Citrus Memorial Hospital on October 3, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born to the late Charles and Lillian Nittel on July 4, 1936 in New York, NY. Weezie worked in the technology industry for a number of years as a programmer. In 1989 she married Joseph Lanzendorfer with whom she shared 31 years of loving marriage until his passing on August 22, 2020. Weezie and Joseph were Florida “snowbirds” for a number of years but made Florida their permanent home in 2019 and were members of the First Lutheran Church of Inverness. She enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with her husband, especially cruises to the Caribbean islands with the Share Club.
Weezie is survived by her son, Keefe Doelling; stepchildren: Daniel Lanzendorfer and his wife Pamela, Cheri Miller and her husband Jerry, Patricia Kelly and her husband John; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be laid to rest with her family at Hills of Rest Cemetery in Floral City, FL at a later date. Cremation care by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
