Sylvia Lee Thomas, 75, of Lecanto, passed away September 18, 2021 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. Sylvia was born on September 3, 1946 in Ocala, FL, to the late Julian and Marion (Sanders) Kelly. She came to Citrus County in 1947 from Cotton Plant, FL. Sylvia was an accountant for Southeast Region LKQ Automotive Recycling, a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Crystal River, and graduated from Citrus High School.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Ellis Herman Roberts and wife, Teresa of Cape Canaveral, FL, Jon Michael Roberts and wife Amber of Lecanto, FL, Danny Lee Thomas of Lecanto, Deanna McGee and husband Stephen, of Lecanto; brothers: Milton F. Kelly, Inverness, Julian “Pete” Kelly and wife Delores of Inverness, Don B. Kelly and wife Cheryl of Springhill; sisters: Nancy Houle and husband John of Lakeland, Patricia Archer of Lecanto; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, FN Thomas, her son, Allen Carroll Roberts, and brothers: Richard Kelly and Jon Kelly.
A Celebration of Life Service for Sylvia, will be conducted on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the First Assembly of God Church in Crystal River, with Pastor Richard Hart officiating. Burial will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Lecanto. Missions were a priority in Sylvia’s life. In Lieu of flowers, those so inclined may give to: First Assembly of God – Missions, 5735 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy., Crystal River, FL 34429. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness.
