Kim Marie Watkins, 58, of Hernando, FL—beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend—passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, she lived most of her life in New Jersey where she still has many friends. Kim is survived by her husband of 30 years, Matthew; her son, Brian; daughter, Nicole; parents, Larry and Josie Blazic; and brothers, Kevin Blazic (Belinda), Kent Blazic, and Keith Blazic (Stacie).
Kim worked as a travel agent before becoming a full-time mom, which included leadership roles in girl scouts and boy scouts, volunteering at school, and parent organizer for the GCIT FIRST Robotics team. Kim enjoyed music, bowling, travel, ancestry, playing cards, diamond painting (her newest hobby), and talking with friends.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Fr. Jose “Jo-Jo” Tejada of St. Scholastica Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Cremation arrangements will follow.
