Marethia D Boles

Marethia D. Boles, 87, of Floral City, FL passed away on August 15th, 2021 at her home. She was born to the late Robert W. and Willie L. (Gammel) Boles on February 25th, 1934 in Georgia. She made Citrus County her home in 2005 after moving from Miami, and she will always be remembered for being an adventurous spirit, strong willed, and a hard worker. She enjoyed taking her boats out on the water, fishing, and running her hardware business.
Marethia was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her loving life-long partner of 50 years, Mary Squires and her siblings Aaron Bruce and Rosalind Oxford. Those who will cherish her memory are her brothers, William R. Boles, Carl Boles, and Robert E. Boles and her nephew, Christopher Boles.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Marethia on Monday, August 23rd, 2021 at 3 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness, FL. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 2 PM until the hour of service. Marethia will be laid to rest at a later date. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
