Naomi Irene Mury, 87 of Inverness, FL, passed away on August 10, 2021 at Vitas Hospice in Lecanto. She was born on October 2, 1933 in New Jersey to the late Jesse and Catherine Ackerman.
In 1973 Naomi Mury married John in New Jersey. They came to Citrus County in 1991 from Lake Hiawatha, NJ. Naomi was a homemaker and did volunteer work for St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, John Mury; daughters: Connie Goral, JoAnn Lilly and her husband Jeff; granddaughter, Robin Hylander and her husband Chad; great grandson, Michael H. Hylander; grandson, Robert Merklin and wife Beverly; great granddaughter, Sarah and great grandson, Justin; two granddaughters: Elizabeth and Sierra; sister-in-law, Betty Ackerman; brother-in-law, Sherman Mury and partner, Eva; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Ernest and Robert; her sisters: Amelia and Marian; and her mother-in-law, Mary Mury.
Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory in Inverness, FL.
