Elizabeth D Owens

Elizabeth “Betty” Diane Owens, 64, of Inverness, FL passed away on July 20, 2021 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. She was born on September 18, 1956 in Yonkers, NY. Betty enjoyed working as a CNA and spending time with her family. She truly saw all of her children’s friends as her children as well and because of this, she has many “adopted” children that she lovingly calls her own.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Jonas) Anderson and her “adopted” daughter Jean Gill; her grandchildren, Brianna (Michael, her husband), Alexis, Craig Jr. (Kamira, his significant other), Alijah, and Desmond; her “adopted” grandchildren, Jade and Tyler; and her great-grandchildren, Amelia, Iyanna, Antonio, Michael Jr., Makaio, and Kayden.
Cremation with Care was under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 7th, 2021 at 2:00 PM at New Testament Baptist Church of Floral City, FL.
