Gerald J Motta

Gerald J. Motta, 96, of Inverness, FL passed away June 11, 2021 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born in Lawrence, MA on January 25, 1925 to the late Joseph and Jasephine (Petteruti) Motta. Gerald was a teacher, and served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He arrived in this area in 1996, coming from Wethersfield, CT and was Catholic by faith. He enjoyed taking care of animals with his son, and was a retired handy man. A Man of all Trades, and the best Dad ever. Gerald was preceded in death by his loving, long time spouse, Bernice Alma Motta in 1995. He is survived by his son Jerry Motta and his wife Michele of Bushnell, FL. In recognition of his military service, Gerald’s urn will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date. Cremation with Care arrangements by Chas. E.
