Where Planning Is A Gift That Lives On

Ryan D Gobble

Ryan Dexter-Shimkus Gobble, 31, of Floral City, FL passed away at his home on May 4th, 2021. He was born to Lisa Shimkus MacMillan and Dexter Gobble on July 19th, 1989 in Orlando, FL. He made Citrus County his home with his mom, Lisa, four years ago when they moved from Clermont, FL. He was a conservative and a Truck Driver for many years and had many talents throughout his life, including fishing, cooking and grilling, music, and loved playing with his dog “Sly”. He could play any instrument you handed him, including drums, the trumpet, and guitar.
Ryan was fiercely protective of his mom and loved ones. He had many good friends, he was kind, and loved animals. He helped anyone that he could and was never afraid to lend a helping hand (or stand up for someone who needed help or that was in harm’s way). He loved his friends at The Diner and Aunt Martha’s Produce in Floral City and he will be dearly missed by all who got the great privilege of knowing him.
Ryan was, unfortunately, preceded in death by his great grandma Minnie MacMaster, his dearly loved “gramze” Constance Bencze, his sister Brandy Gobble and by many friends. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lisa MacMillan of Floral City, FL; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a multitude of friends.
Arrangements are private at this time for Ryan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Citrus County Animal Shelter in his memory. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
