Rafael A. Llanis, 73, of Lecanto, FL passed away on April 19, 2021 at Citrus Memorial Hospital of Inverness, FL. He was born to the late Rafael A. and Marie (Menendez) Llanis on August 22, 1947 in Puerto Rico. He was a salesman for auto finance for the majority of his life and loved his farm where he kept goats and horses. He was a car guy and was a devoted Christian. He was very proud of his culture and loved Puerto Rico. He loved attending church and enjoying going to Church Without Walls in Lecanto, FL. He was always a very happy person who was full of life and spirit. He was a great husband and father and loved his family dearly. He made Citrus County his home 25 years ago when relocating from Puerto Rico. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Rafael A. Llanis in 2019. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 17 years, Yamile; his son, Carmichael Llamis (Sarah) of Lecanto, FL; his daughter, Ingrid Llanis (Alberto) of Lecanto, FL; his sister, Marilyn Llanis; and his five cherished grandchildren, Stella, Paola, Mia, Cloe, and Dennis Michael.
A Funeral Service of Remembrance is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, with a visitation beginning at 2:00 PM, where everyone is welcome to attend for a time of fellowship. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
