David W. Littlefield, 75, of Lecanto, FL passed away unexpectedly March 9, 2021. He was born in Rockland, Maine on October 21, 1945 to the late Carl and Viola (Weymouth) Littlefield. David was the supervisor of a vocational training facility in Freeport, Maine, and arrived in this area in 2000 after retirement. He was Christian by faith. He loved to work cutting lawns and helping people in need with his handyman skills. He also enjoyed golfing with his buddies, kayaking, and riding the bike trails. He was also lucky to have a neighbor, Paxson Rose who became his best friend. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Littlefield. David is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Brenda Littlefield. Other survivors include his children Nathanael Littlefield and his wife Leigh of Charlotte, North Carolina, Rebeca Norton and her husband Eric of New Gloucester, Maine, and Lisa Hall and her husband Jay of Lancaster, PA; Keagan Whitney of Gray, Maine; and brother Donald Littlefield and his wife Ruth of Portsmouth, NH; niece Jennie Windscheffel and nephew Tyler Littlefield; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service for David will be held in Maine at a later date. Cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
