Charlotte Frances Banks, 83, of Inverness, FL passed away March 8, 2021 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. She was born in Nyack, NY on October 16, 1937 to the late Charles Frank and Helen Augusta (Holznagel) Bozdech. Charlotte was an auditor for Blue Cross-Blue Shield and arrived in this area in 1999, coming from Middletown, NY. She attended Ft. Cooper Baptist Church in Inverness. Charlotte enjoyed sewing and Sudoku puzzles, but especially loved “Marbles Night with the Ladies”. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 21 years, Floyd R. Banks, one son, Dale R. Conklin, one daughter, Billie Jean Quimby, one sister, Deborah F. Conklin, and one step daughter Debra Springstead. Charlotte is survived by her children William M. Conklin and his wife Elizabeth of Middletown, NY, Dirck M. Conklin and his wife Katherine of Goshen, NY, Patricia Shaw of Goshen, NY, and Lillian M. Hager and her husband John of Middletown, NY; and stepdaughter Joyce Williams and her husband Bill of Liberty, NY; 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Charlotte’s urn will be laid to rest with her husband Floyd at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
