Where Planning Is A Gift That Lives On

Nathan S Proctor

Nathan S. Proctor, 62, of Inverness, FL passed away on January 26, 2021 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born to (late) Sherry C. and Esther (Moss) Proctor on January 27, 1958 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He married his beloved wife, Mary, four years ago and they have enjoyed many beautiful memories together since. Nathan enjoyed attending Trinity Independent Baptist Church of Inverness.
Nathan was a man of God and would do anything for anyone. He will be remembered as always being willing to help another person out, even going so far as to actually give the shirt off of his back. He always gave people rides when they needed it and would gift people with food from the food pantry that he knew could benefit from it. He looked out for others and always had their best interest at heart. He loved to pray daily and would pray over his friends, neighbors, and family and make sure that everyone always had everything that they needed. Nathan enjoyed raising butterflies, and had backyard full of Milkweed for his butterflies and would often release his butterflies that he raised, into his backyard for them to enjoy. He loved flowers and nature, and was able to enjoy nature in almost every state in the US and in many other countries, thanks to his travel as part of his carnival work experience. He loved being connected with nature and made that connection a priority. Nathan was a family man, who adored his wife, step-children, and grandchildren. He was recently gifted with a Tampa Bay Buccaneer Jersey for Christmas and it was the highlight of his year. He loved people, making friends, and gathering memories along the way. Nathan was one of a kind who will be missed dearly.
Those who have preceded him in death are his father, Sherry and his sister, Gaylen. Those left to cherish his memory are his cherished wife, Mary; his step-children, Randy (Cassandra), David, Robert, and Shannon Miniaci; his brother, Seth; his three sisters, Hannah, Lauren, and Eliza; and two adored granddaughters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Independent Baptist Church of Inverness at a later date. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
