Angelina L. Bustamante of Inverness, FL passed away at Citrus Memorial Hospital on January 13, 2021 at the age of 75. Angelina was born to the late Thomas and Angelina (Russo) Cucuzzo on November 21, 1945 in Queens, NY. On May 26, 1973 she married her husband Herbert Bustamante with whom she shared 47 years of loving marriage. Angelina and Herbert made Citrus County their home in July of 2000 after relocating from Long Island, NY. She was a Catholic by faith and a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. Angelina found great joy in her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed crocheting and had crocheted each of her 9 grandchildren a baby blanket. She also liked sewing and word puzzles.
In addition to her loving husband Herbert, those left to mourn Angelina’s passing include her son, Herbert A. Bustamante of Inverness, FL; daughters: Kristina Baird and her husband Christopher, Tara Strickland and her husband Jonce of Lake Panasoffkee, FL; sister, Vita Cucuzzo-Maupin of New York; and grandchildren: Nathan, Mackenzie, Zachary, Dylan, Mason, Anthony, Courtney, Katelyn and Cole. Angelina was preceded in death by sisters: Catherine and Rosemarie.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness and will be conducted by Pastor Tom Thomas of the First Christian Church of Inverness. Angelina will be laid to rest on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 9:30 AM. A procession to the cemetery will depart from the funeral home promptly at 8:45 AM on the morning of the service. In lieu of flowers, Angelina’s family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Lewy Body Dementia Association at https://www.lbda.org/donate. Arrangements are under the care of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
