Matthew C Peters

Matthew Charles Robert Peters, 35, of Inverness, FL passed away January 5, 2021. He was a lifelong resident of Citrus County, Fl. By trade, Matthew was a master service technician and owner/operator of his own air conditioning company. After graduating from Citrus High School, class of 2003, Matthew joined the United States Air Force. His hobbies included hanging out with his friends, sports, fishing, boating, camping and making people laugh.
Matthew lived his life to the absolute fullest with the biggest smile on his face. He is preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Austin, his nephew, Tyler Hopkins, and his grandparents Charles and Rose Marie Peters. Living survivors are his mother, Rebecca Duarte and her husband Frank Duarte, his father, Gerald Peters and step-brother Jonathan Duarte. He also left numerous aunts and uncles, nephews and cousins. Among these were James Austin and Christian Duarte. He also left many devoted friends were also Matthew’s family. and of course Marley, his beloved dog. Matthew was truly loved by everyone he came in contact with, and will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Sunday, January 17, 2:00 P.M. at the New Church Without Walls in Lecanto, FL. with Dr. Rev. Doug Alexander officiating. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
