Frederick Robert Scheu, age 85, Inverness, FL passed away December 6, 2020 at his residence. Fred was born in Everett, MA on February 14, 1935 to the late Arnold and Louise (Lettney) Scheu and came to this area in 1990 from Rochester, NY where he was employed by Eastman-Kodak in their construction department. He also was employed as a lineman with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local # 104 out of Boston, MA.
Fred served our country in the United States Army in Co. C-325th Infantry and was a Life Member of V.F.W. Post 4337 of Inverness.
Left to cherish his memory are 3 children: Frederick Scheu, Jr., Bonnie Mae Smith, and Donna Scheu; two brothers: Arnold and David Scheu; 1 sister, Carol Steven; 6 grandchildren. He was just preceded in death by his wife Carrie Lynn Salminen on November 28, 2020.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Florida National Cemetery of Bushnell, FL at a later date. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
