Cynthia Irene Neuhausen of Inverness, FL passed away at Citrus Memorial Hospital on December 2, 2020 at the age of 49. Cynthia was born on December 31, 1970 in St. Petersburg, FL to James Henry Neuhausen and Penelope Dorcas (Rute) Wood. She made Citrus County her home 1½ years ago after relocating from Tarpon Springs. Photography was her passion and she was extremely talented. For a time Cynthia worked for a studio that took portraits of school children. She also loved anything related to Disney. Cynthia was a collector of PEZ dispensers and her collection is well over 1000 at this point. Several times throughout the years her collection would go on display at libraries throughout the area.
Those left to mourn Cynthia’s passing include her partner of 7 years, Christopher Scutt; her mother, Penelope Wood; her father, James Neuhausen; and brother, Christopher J. Wood.
