Dolores M. Cavallari of Inverness, FL passed away while under the loving care of her family and Vitas Hospice in Lecanto, FL on November 7, 2020 at the age of 91. Dolores was born in White Plains, NY to the late Peter and Josephine (Eustis) Tirino on February 12, 1929. She was married to her husband Vito Cavallari for 47 years until his passing in 1996. Prior to retirement, Dolores worked as a Manager for the New York Telephone Company retiring after 31 years of service to them. She and her husband Vito made Citrus County, FL their home in 1988 and were parishioners of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness, FL. In her spare time Dolores enjoyed gardening. She also loved to sew, crochet and also enjoyed reading. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s Club and enjoyed making rosary’s and fellowshipping with the women of Our Lady of Fatima.
Those left to mourn Dolores’ passing include her daughter, Carmelina Fritz and her husband Robert; her granddaughters: Corie Quattrocchi and her husband Edward, Dana West and her husband Justin; and great grandchildren: Kainin and Jamisyn Quattrocchi.
The Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. Following the Mass, Dolores will be laid to rest privately with her husband Vito at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Whitehall, NY. Florida arrangements are under the care of the Chas E.
