Jeanette Joyce Troxel of Dunnellon, FL passed away at her home while under the care of HPH Hospice on October 6, 2020 at the age of 86. Jeanette was born in Sunrise, MN on April 16, 1934 to the late Roy and Amanda (Ryden) Peterson. She was married to Willard Troxel for 59 years until his passing on February 17, 2012. Jeanette and Willard made Citrus County their home in 1999 after relocating from Tampa, FL. She was an auxiliary member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1590 and a member of the Citrus County Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge #3992.
Those left to mourn Jeanette’s passing include her daughter, Kim Doran and her husband Darren; sons: Keith Troxel and his wife Holly, Kirk Troxel; brother, Norman Peterson; grandchildren: Ashley and Robert; and great grandchild, Ariana.
Jeanette will be laid to rest with her husband at Florida National Cemetery at a later date. Cremation care by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
