Anna Mary Barndt, 91, of Inverness, FL passed away on October 6th ,2020 at Citrus Health and Rehab surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Abraham Paul and Grace Hazel (Shelly) Barndt on February 13th, 1929 in Quakertown, PA. She worked as a care taker for a nursing home for the majority of her life, and she will always be remembered for being a very caring, kind, and loving person. Anna Mary enjoyed arts and crafts where she would create beautiful tissue flowers with her daughter, Maryann. She would also create life size dummies that were used in all sorts of endeavors and creations, and she also loved making many art pieces out of beads and other media. Anna Mary was an artist at heart.
Anna Mary is preceded in death by seven of her eight siblings, Abraham Paul Barndt, Jr., Henry Franklin Barndt, William Earl Barndt, Robert Raymond Barndt, Walter Elmer Barndt, Edward Barndt, and Florence Finkbeiner. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Stanley Rotenberger (Janet) of Inverness, FL, John Rotenberger (Beverly) of Panama City, FL, Robert “Bob” Rotenberger (Michelle) of West Palm Beach, FL, Maryann Leason of Inverness, FL, Barbara Smith (Larry), and Christine Porter (Blue) of O’Brien, FL; one of her sisters, Jacqueline Yeakel; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildrn.
Arrangements for Anna Mary are private. Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
