Velmajean L Dearing

The home going of Velmajean Louise Dearing (Louise) 1926 – 2020. Louise was born in Corning, Arkansas on September 7, 1926 to Charles and Beatrice Davis. She was the second oldest of eight children. She graduated from Corning High school in the class of 1944. Louise married Jeff Clifford Dearing of Success, Arkansas, in Angola, Indiana on August 31, 1946. They had two daughters, Margaret and Betty. Louise resided in Flint, Michigan until 1981, when she moved to Florida. While in Florida she owned and operated Montclair Plaza Grocery Store. She lived in Lake Panasoffkee until her passing on September 23, 2020. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Jeff. C. Dearing, her daughter Margaret Elaine Vicars of California, her granddaughter Kristen Renee Lewis of Lake Panasoffkee, FL and her son-in-law Daniel J. Lewis of Lake Panasoffkee. She leaves behind a daughter Betty Ann Louise Lewis of Lake Panasoffkee, two sisters: Ann Bell of Missouri and Charlene Davis of Oklahoma, her brother Bob Davis of Indiana, two sisters in law, Betty Rider and Sue Banasiak of Michigan; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Louise will be missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service for Louise will be held at the Whitney Baptist Church in Leesburg, FL, on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Cremation with care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness.
