William James McCabe, 78 of Inverness, passed away July 31, 2020 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson. William was born April 17, 1942 in Albany, NY, to the late Burton and Edith (Stephens) McCabe. He was a US Army veteran and an iron worker in the construction industry.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Sean McCabe of Albany, NY, Cynthia McCabe of Safety Harbor, FL, Tami McCabe of Saratoga Springs, NY and Shannon McCabe of Albany , NY. He is also survived by his brother, Ted Simons of Nashville, TN and his sisters Barbara Jancek of Inverness, FL and Janice Vester of Tennessee; 2 grandchildren and his dog, “Kellie”.
Following cremation, William’s urn will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Cremation with care. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
