Where Planning Is A Gift That Lives On

Judith A Lemond

Judith Ann Lemond, age 76, Hernando, Florida passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Center in Lecanto. Judy was born in Paterson, NJ on July 19, 1943 to the late Albertus White and Corine Blair White and came to Citrus County in 2001 from Glen Rock, NJ. She was employed as a cashier for the A & P Grocery Stores prior to retirement. She attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness.

Judy had a love for Disney and vacationed there often, bringing her daughter, Megan, family and friends. You could always count on a beautiful Disney ornament or gift from Judy during the holidays. She loved life, staying busy, traveling, seeing family and friends, catching up on the phone, receiving school and sport pictures of her nieces and nephews, being active for many years with the Special Olympics, seeing shows and movies with her daughter, liked to laugh over the latest celebrity gossip, loved pets and spoiled them, like she did everyone else. Judy had a quiet strength that was admired by all; she was the kindest, most helpful and loving lady around, and family meant the world to her. We are all better off for knowing and loving such an amazing and generous woman. Touching the hearts of many, Judy leaves behind many adoring family members and friends. We will cherish our fond memories with her forever.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Megan Elizabeth Lemond of Hernando, FL; brothers: William White and his wife Carol and Bruce White and his wife, Francis, both of New York; nieces and nephews: Deborah Ann White, William J. White and his wife, Lisa, Kenneth White, Michael White and his wife, Denise, Christine White, William Helms and his wife Barbara, Jeffrey Helms and his wife Diane, Chris Helms and his wife, Shari; great nephew and niece are Ryan and Katie Helms. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Robert Peter Lemond, who passed away December 22, 2008.

There is a Celebration of Life scheduled for Monday, July 20, 2020 at 4:00 PM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Doug Alexander will preside. Family and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy’s memory to: HPH Hospice, 2939 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy., Lecanto, FL 34461, phone 352-527-4600. Cremation with care provided by Chas. E.
