Jimmy W Johnson

Jimmy W. Johnson, age 67, resident of Homosassa, FL passed away at Vitas Healthcare in Lecanto, FL on June 9th, 2020. Jimmy was born in Moultrie, GA to the late Herman C. and Ollie Mae (Stanfill) Johnson on August 11th, 1952. In 1978, he moved to the Citrus County area from Pinellas Park, FL where he lived the remainder of his years, working as a roofer. He will be remembered for being the cool, quiet friend and confidant who would light up the room wherever he went. Jimmy loved NASCAR, and, like his name suggests, greatly admired the NACAR racer, Jimmie Johnson, #48. Jimmy is described as a very hard worker and is fondly remembered as a “giver” of himself or his time. He had many close friends.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Ollie Mae. Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Bill Johnson of Broadway, VA, his sister, Sherrie Knaust (Wayne) of Hudson, FL, and Patti Hunt (John) of Ocala, FL.
Cremation with Care is scheduled for Jimmy, under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
